Meet Our Chief Executive Officer

Gene Tipps is the Chief Executive Officer at Plexus Worldwide®. He is responsible for the global strategic vision and growth strategies of this leading direct selling company.

Tipps joined Plexus in 2018 managing global operations to accelerate the distribution of new products into new and emerging markets. Before assuming the role of CEO as President of Global Operations, he led the launch of over 30 new products, expanded the product distribution footprint, enhanced the supply chain both domestically and internationally, and provided valuable guidance to new markets in Australia, Mexico, and Canada.

In his role as CEO, Tipps serves on Plexus’ Executive Leadership Team; Plexus’ key executive decision-making body focused on global strategy development and delivering meaningful Brand Ambassador and customer experiences. He also serves on Plexus’ Strategic Council comprised of top cross-functional executive leaders serving in both a visionary and advisory capacity.

With over 20 years of executive leadership experience, Gene has worked with startups to multi-million-dollar direct selling companies and is a renowned expert in the channel. Tipps is passionate about infusing bold concepts into organizations at their growth and maturity points. He brings a global perspective to Plexus after years of working and living abroad as an expatriate in three countries.
